Hi! I’m Barbara Ann—Army veteran, healthcare professional, mother of two, and cookie artist.
I’ve always been prone to flights of fancy—the kind of daydreams that make you look at something and think, what could I do with this?
My cookie journey started with a less-than-impressive batch of holiday cookies in 2023—and somehow turned into a Cottage Foods Bakery here in the Bay Area, CA.
After one too many cookie-related monologues, my husband suggested I take it online—apparently not everyone shares my enthusiasm for icing consistency. So here I am, covered in powdered sugar, figuring it out as I go and sharing what I learn along the way.
Like many others, I learned by watching decorating videos and figuring things out one cookie at a time. Now I get to share what I’ve learned and (hopefully) make the process a little easier for someone else.
